As our readers are likely aware, we post a lot of interviews here on The Sounding Line. We feel that well executed interviews are a great way to get beyond the sound bite TV news cycle to something a more substantial and considered. We listen to a lot of interviews and we post the ones that we find particularly interesting or relevant for others to enjoy. With very few exceptions the interviews are recent, less than a week old, so as to be current. This post is just such an exception as the interview is from earlier this year. However you would never know that listening to it, and with the Brexit and Italian referendums having happened in the interim, it is more relevant today than ever.
