President-Elect Donald Trump held his first press conference since winning the presidential election on Wednesday. It covered a wide range of subjects but proved to be a market moving event for the pharmaceutical industry most of all. Trump’s critical comments about pharmaceutical companies, and plans to present a ‘repeal and replace’ Obamacare proposal post-haste, sent of the several major pharmaceutical companies (REGN, NVS, JNJ etc…) down sharply on the day.

Regardless of what you think about the substance of Trump’s remarks, it’s refreshing to see a press conference that looked genuinely unscripted, and as these events are likely to remain market-moving, we will try to post them ASAP in the future.
