The following chart from Statista reveals the world’s highest-valued startups according to data from CB Insights. Compared to the last time that we looked at this data, both Stripe and SpaceX have leapfrogged Chinese company Didi Chuxing (similar to Uber) and Indian company One97 has fallen off of the list. Airbnb, DoorDash, and Chinese video-sharing company Kuaishou have all gone public, meaning that they are no longer considered startups for the purpose for comparison.

The new entrants include Finnish company Klarna (the only European company to make the list), Indonesian company GoTo, Brazilian company Nubank, and US companies UiPath, DataBricks, and Rivian.
