The following Sketchfab scan, from 3d Interiors, shows the Abbey Library of Saint Gall in Saint Gall, Switzerland.
The library was first constructed in the 8th century at the Abbey of St. Gall before being destroyed by a fire in 937 AD. It’s current iteration was the result of construction in the mid 1700s and contains a collection with 160,000 volumes including rare books, incunabula, and manuscripts dating back to the 8th century.
All it’s missing is a comfortable place to sit and read.
