The total market cap of various cryptocurrencies has reached $1.83 billion, just a hair below the total market cap of the bank stocks in the S&P Composite 1500, an index that covers roughly 90% of US stocks, according to the following chart from Jim Bianco’s Bianco Research.
It looks like cryptocurrencies are on the cusp of making history, even as momentum seems to be fading from crypto funds.
