The following poster was made to promote the ‘Exposition Universelle of 1889’ (World’s Fair) in Paris, France, for which the Eifel Tower was made. The exposition was the fourth of eight held in Paris between 1855 and the outbreak of World War II and featured science, industrial, and art exhibits. It also featured Thomas Edison, Claude Debussy, Buffalo Bill Cody, Annie Oakley, and the Barnum and Bailey Circus.
