James Rickards, bestselling author and market commentator, recently sat down for an interview with the Oxford Radio Club. For those who don’t know Mr. Rickards, he was the principal negotiator in the 1998 bailout of Long Term Capital Management during the 1998 Asian currency crisis and Russian financial crisis and is perhaps most famous for bringing the idea of currency wars into the mainstream of economic discourse with his bestselling book ‘Currency Wars.’ In the interview below Mr. Rickards speaks about his new book ‘The Road to Ruin’ as well as his understanding of the market implications of the upcoming US Presidential election.
