Sean Corrigan, director of Cantillon Consulting, recently spoke with CNBC about the print-and-spend stimulus policies being conducted around the world and the building long term debt and equity valuation problem that is being created. Namely, the prospect of near zero yields and the diminishing prospect of yet-lower rates is turning bonds into a dead-end for investors. Accordingly, money is flowing into already over valued stocks, creating a rally and holding off problems for now. While that can go on for quite a while, it can’t go on forever. What comes after looks like a major problem for debt markets.
