The following infographic, from Visual Capitalist, shows the best selling auto in every country based on data from 2019.

A few interesting notes:

1.) The best selling auto in the world is the famous Toyota Corolla. Toyota is the best selling brand in the most countries worldwide: 41 of the 104 countries analyzed.

2.) The Tesla Model 3 is the best selling car in the Netherlands and Norway

3.) Ford F-Series pickup trucks take the crown in the US and Canada

4.) While it seems like there are dozens of car brands, nearly all of the smaller brands are owned by big auto conglomerates: Dacia (Renault), Lada (Renault), Seat (VW), Skoda (VW), Maruti (Suzuki), Smart (Daimler), etc…
