Today’s map, from YouTube creator Ollie Bye, ambitiously shows the territorial history of the world’s civilizations from 200,000 BC until today. While I cannot attest to the accuracy of every single detail, it appears largely correct and paints a very interesting picture of humanity’s shared history.
Enjoy:

The “Map of World History” is fascinating. I noticed one “politically correct” misdirection concerning the Middle East. Islamic conquests and occupations are referred to as “Caliphate” or “Arab.” Caliphate is accurate. Arab, when controlled primarily by Islamic conquest and occupation is misleading. Since Islam is primarily a political ideology, a more meaningful name for these conquests and domination would be either Islamic or Muslim rather than Arab. Islam was the controlling influence.
