As part of our ongoing series of historical video-maps, we present: ‘Every Day in the American Civil War.’ Beginning during the Battle of Fort Sumter on April 13th, 1861 and continuing until June 23rd, 1865 when the last Confederate General, a Cherokee Indian named Stand Watie, surrendered to Union forces, the following video details the changing front lines of the war that remains the deadliest in all of American history.
