As part of our ongoing series of historical video-maps, from YouTube creator jase333, we present: ‘The Results of Every US Presidential Election in History.’ From the election of George Washington in 1789 until the election of Donald Trump in 2016, the following map details the county by county results of every presidential election in American history. Not only does the map show the outcome by state and county of each election, the intensity of the color of each county indicates the margin of support for the candidate that won that county, offering a way to visualize the ‘polarization’ of each election.
